I don't know if I really have the time to get back into this, but I'll try take a look if I can. It should be inside My Documents TecmoKoei Shin Sangokumusou 6 Savedata. Crashing is definitely a problem, one which I can't really get rid of with the way I've had to do things, and that sucks. It shouldn't happen all the time though.
