Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Unchecked
Adapters used for the management operating system are as dependent upon bindings as any other adapter in Windows. The same goes for the virtual adapters inside virtual machines. Configure them as you would any adapter in the respective operating systems. The Multiplexor Right beneath the Hyper-V virtual switch in the above screenshot, you can see the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol. This is the magical component that makes native adapter teaming work in Windows Server. As with adapters bound to the Hyper-V switch, adapters bound to the multiplexor must be bound to nothing else.
I went inside the properties of the internet and found 'Windows Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol' unchecked. I tried to check it and pressed ok. When I then clicked on properties again it was still unchecked. Restore Default Startup Configuration for Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol. Copy the command below, paste it into the command window and press ENTER: sc config NdisImPlatform start= demand 3. Close the command window and restart the computer. The NdisImPlatform service is using the NdisImPlatform.sys file.
First, you get here by starting on the Network Connections screen. Press ALT to make the menu bar appear. Click Advanced, then Advanced Settings: This will reward you with the following screen: In the top area, you can change the order that Windows chooses to access adapters when it doesn’t have any other hints. In my observations, this doesn’t work reliably, which is one of the reasons I recommend you not use it for Hyper-V. Reasons People Try to Use Binding Order for Hyper-V The most prominent reason people attempt to manipulate the binding order in Hyper-V is when the host is joined to a cluster. This is because a cluster requires multiple adapters for the management operating system, resulting in a multi-homed system.
Jan 12, 2016 So I've had this issue for about three days now. I am able to connect to my home router, but I am unable to connect to the Internet. Troubleshooter said 'One or more network protocols are missing'. Not sure what happened, never touched networking except for connecting to my network.

Many programs cannot connect to internet after upgrade to windows 10 Hello Zheng, Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family. From the description provided, I understand that applications/programs are unable to connect to internet after the Windows 10 upgrade. Refer to the below methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Method 1 As an initial recommendation, I would suggest you to follow these steps to run the Windows in built troubleshooter: a) Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter. B) Click on Troubleshooting tab. C) Click on view all option on the upper left corner. D) Select the Internet connections option from the list.
Hyper-V is well aware of this software component. It is through this particular binding that Hyper-V is able to control how traffic flows in and out of all connected virtual adapters. The fact that nothing else is bound is why the management operating system has no visibility into anything that happens on the Hyper-V virtual switch.
Anything on the network changed lately? Yes, I am the admin of the home network. I've never tried to connect my laptop through a wired connection, just always use wireless. All other devices (tablets, phones, laptop) use wireless--never tried to connect. PS4 and Xbox One X are connected to the modem by ethernet cords and they can access the network without any issues. I've had the same ISP and equipment for almost a year and a half with no changes. If game boxes can connect, this suggests a basic working LAN, so there is something wrong with ur PC.
Click View by -> Large icons to see all controls and then click on Internet Options. Click the Connection tab and then LAN settings. The 'Use proxy server' box should be clear (unchecked). The 'Automatically detect settings box' sometimes works best checked, sometimes works best unchecked, try both. Hi Thanks, although all those things seem to be same as yours, Although I did notice there is a java icon in my control panel but only the 32 bit version I will most likely also require the 64bit version (my computer has a 64bit processor ) which I am unable to install, as mentioned above the Microsoft office 365 reinstall didn't fix its problem either instead I cannot even reinstall it, give me an error saying. Couldn't install unable to download required file Error Code (6).
How do I find what protocols I'm missing. Windows 10 on a Dell Venue 8 pro tablet. Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Edge cannot access the website. IE is telling me about the missing protocols.

Multiplexer Network
Hi There seem to be a lot of these problems and they are posted all over. Firstly most of my programs that were carried over from my windows 10 upgrade seem to have some form of internet connectivity problems, my browsers work completely fine, with the exception of internet explorer, which I think is the reason for the connectivity problems, it also seems that I cannot install java, that was a possible solution that came up in a different forum. Error says: cannot install java with current internet settings. The other programs that have connectivity problems are steam, bluestacks and Microsoft office 365, and that it cannot verify my licence I am currently reinstalling it to see if this solves it. Will post it here if it has been solved.
